Emily Rogers, Minister

Emily is a former Catholic campus minister turned chaos coordinator of 3 littles!

She has an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Catechetics and Evangelization from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

In addition to chasing after 3 tiny kiddos, Emily loves drinking excessive amounts of coffee, binge watching Survivor, and crafting! Emily also has a podcast where she talks about the ways God is present through all of the unexpected twists and turns of life.

Experience

Emily was a campus minister at the Newman Catholic Center at Eastern Illinois University for 3 and a half years. In that time, she had the opportunity to help hundreds of students and faculty build a strong bond with God through prayer. 

Now she’s a stay-at-home mom for her three children, podcaster and writer. But everything she does follows the path that God has laid out before her. 

During her time at home, Emily has reflected on the life of Jesus when He was little and what Mary’s actions and dispositions were like during her life, especially in those early years. 

Emily continues to connect with our community through her writing.
