There are plenty of levels to being a competitive person. No matter what your level of competitiveness is, there is something special about being a part of something and working hard to compete as a team or for a personal goal. I competed on a team in high school, but I know the same drive went into the individuals who competed alone.
Deuteronomy 31:6 teaches us to bring God into our competitions. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Through our Lord you can conquer all fear or doubts that you may have about what you are trying to achieve through your competition.
